Josh Scobee and Chad Pfeifer lead early in round one of the American Century Championship

STATELINE, Nev. — Two first-time American Century Championship players — Josh Scobee and Chad Pfeifer — are the early leaders late in the opening round of the 25th annual tournament.

Pfeifer has 19 points entering the 16th hole. Scobee, longtime kicker for Jacksonville, has 18 going into No. 8.

Actor Jack Wagner, who has played in all 25 ACC events, is at 16 points through 15 holes.
