The Capital City Community Band will perform marches, swing tunes and classics in its free Old Favorites Band Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Carson Nugget Hall of the Aspen Building at Western Nevada College.
The Capital City Community Band Has provided free concerts for Carson City residents and the surrounding areas since 1979. New members are always welcome. For more information, call Director Richard Doede at 775-883-2219.
Although an elevator is available to the second floor, where the Carson Nugget Hall is located, reserved seating is offered for those who are unable to climb stairs. To reserve, call Doede.
