Carson City’s Cracker Box has received the Tripadvisor.com Award of Excellence, which recognizes restaurants that consistently receive high ratings from travelers and that rank in the top performing 10 percent of businesses worldwide, for 2014.
“I’m lucky to have a great team working at the Box,” said Jerry Massad, who has owned the Cracker Box for more than 34 years. “They are the reason we’ve been in business as long as we have. I couldn’t do it without them.”
The diner also received the Tripadvisor.com Award of Excellence in 2013. It has won best breakfast by readers of the Nevada Appeal and was named Best of the West by readers of AAA’s Via Magazine.
“We have so many great customers, it’s so nice to get to know them over the years,” said Lead cook Adam Romo. “We love meeting our new customers as well. We want them to be happy and enjoy their meal. We all want to keep them coming back.”
