The Brewery Arts Center (BAC), Carson City’s premiere epicenter for the arts since 1977 has developed a survey for the residents of Carson City to be able to tell us their wants, needs and what they expect from their local arts center. The survey is only 22 questions and accessible through the link here and will remain live until Friday. http://survey.constantcontact.com/survey/a07e8w8hyoihraveud0/start

Any and all feedback and insight is helpful and useful and appreciated. The survey includes plenty of spaces for original ideas, suggestions and thoughts. The Brewery Arts Center looks forward to serving the residents of Carson City and supporting the development of a well-rounded arts community.

“Carson City has always enjoyed a vibrant cultural life. From the Promenade Balls of Abram Curry to the Carson Opera House to today’s Brewery Arts Center, Carson City residents have always enjoyed the arts. As the designated Local Arts Agency, the Brewery Arts Center has a community driven mission. Periodically, we ask for input and we look at what we’re doing and how we do it. We appreciate everyone’s input and help!” says Chris Bayer, Board President of the Brewery Arts Center.

The vision of the Brewery Arts Center is to nurture and advance the creation and presentation of the arts. The BAC seeks to promote a sense of community through the arts through its various partnerships and collaborations.

In addition to providing innovative arts programming for everyone, regardless of ability to pay, the BAC is home to a gallery, an Artisan store where local artists can present and promote their work, Access Carson City, the local cable access channel, Wild Horse Children’s Theater, and Proscenium Players, Nevada’s 2nd Oldest Continuously-Operating Theater Company, since 1965.
