Whatitdo is performing tonight at the Brewery Arts Center, which is hosting weekly concerts this summer.
The Brewery Arts Center will kick off summer with a series of Thursday night concerts, the first of which will feature a local jazz trio.
Whatitdo will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Brewery Arts Center’s Maize Harris Jesse Theater as part of its weeklong promotion to celebrate the release of its first album.
“This album is a collection of our music from the past six years and that is what this release week is about. The music is funky, soulful, jazzy and also very hard to define. We want people from any situation/style to enjoy what we do musically and are glad to bring it into the sun,” said member Aaron Chiazza.
The Maize Harris Jesse Black Box Theater is inside the Brewery Arts Center at 449 W. King St.
General admission is $10 and $8 for BAC members. Tickets are available for purchase at Breweryarts.org or in the BAC’s Artisan Store, 449 West King St.
