Next Level Performance, owned by two ex-Greenwave stars, will be hosting a five-day sport performance camp for all youth football athletes next month in Reno.

Tyler Simper and Stephen Snyder, who lettered for the Greenwave in multiple sports, will roll out several former Fallon and Nevada greats to assist budding football players. Fellow alums Trevor de Braga and Josh Mauga, and Nevada grads Jeff Rowe and Kelvin Howell will help youth football athletes work on fundamentals and prepare for the upcoming season.

The camp runs from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. from April 7-11 at the Moana field complex by the Jack Tighe baseball fields, 240 Moana Lane. The cost is $150 per athlete and part of the proceeds will benefit Emily Reese and her battle with cancer. Each participant will also receive a T-shirt.

The camp includes position-specific football training, specialized training for all positions, mental and physical conditioning, small group coaching and much more.

Simper and Snyder are both performance specialists who have helped many former Fallon athletes, including Mauga and de Braga. Mauga, who has spent his entire career with the New York Jets, is currently rehabbing and aiming to get back into the NFL next season, while de Braga is trying to land on a professional team.

Along with the four Fallon alums, Rowe and Howell both competed for the Wolf Pack with Rowe being the first quarterback to run the Pistol offense invented by Chris Ault 10 years ago. Rowe played in the NFL for Cincinnati, while Howell is now a trainer.
