Christine Shively-Benjamin, a doll maker from Carson City, is one of 30 artists from Northern Nevada featured at the 20th Annual Artisan Show and Sale on Friday and Saturday at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Northern Nevada, 780 Del Monte Lane in Reno.

The juried show includes jewelry, basketry, watercolors, photography, pottery, glass works, mosaics and pieces made with paper.

Featured artists are from Carson City, Washoe Valley, Reno, Sparks and other places in Northern Nevada.

The show will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Wine and appetizers will be served at the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.

Sixteen original pieces, including jewelry, basketry, fused glass and watercolor, will be given away. A raffle will be held both days; the winner does not need to be present.

MasterCard and Visa are accepted for all purchases.
