Carson City’s Bell finishes 29th in Nationwide race

Carson City’s Mackena Bell made a successful debut in the NASCAR Nationwide Series on Saturday.

The female driver finished 29th in the DAV 200 on Saturday in Phoenix. Bell was able to move up to 29th after qualifying 39th earlier in the day, posting an average speed of 126.489 mph during qualifying.

The race was won by Brad Keselowski.
