The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
THURSDAY
• At 11:20 a.m., three people were arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property after a woman reported her 5th wheel trailer was broken into in the Brunswick Canyon area.
She said she discovered a man and a woman in her trailer Sept. 16. They were identified in the report as Branon Johnson, 35, and Danielle Abella, 33. When confronting them, she said they left her belongings behind and informed her another woman identified as Michelle Salas, 40, had taken her generator.
Those involved allegedly admitted having a part in the case. Salas and Abella were arrested on suspicion of both burglary and possession of stolen property and ordered held in lieu of $10,000 bail. Johnson was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property for his part in the case and held in lieu of $5,000 bail.
• At 10:15 a.m., Earl Smith Jr., was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs without a prescription after the bottle of pills was spotted during an investigation at a north Carson Street apartment. Bail was set at $2,500.
• At 8:02 p.m., Kevin Beard, 34, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of possession of meth after a traffic stop on Stanton. A search of his person revealed a plastic bag with a white powdery substance in it the arrest report says tested positive for the drug. Bail was set at $2,500 on the felony possession count.
• At 8:20 p.m., Alida Rios, 40, was arrested on suspicion of possession of meth and sales of a controlled substance after a traffic stop at Monte Rose and Stanton. The arrest report says a drug sniffing dog alerted deputies to the vehicle. The report states the sales charge was filed because of the number of baggies and the scale with those baggies found in the vehicle. She was also arrested on suspicion of failure to stop at a stop sign and driving with a suspended license. Total bail in the case was set at $8,040.
