Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of felony grand larceny, stolen property

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 12:58 a.m., Charles Rodriguez-Miller, 19, of the Washoe Reservation was arrested on suspicion of felony vehicle burglary and minor consuming alcohol after deputies responded to reports of a vehicle burglary near the 700 block of Elm Street. Bail was set at $25,000.

At 1:14 p.m., Daniel Kwiatkowski, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony grand larceny, felony possession of stolen property over $2,500 and an out of county warrant after deputies responded to reports of a stolen laptop and phone at Western Nevada College. The suspect was apprehended near the 2000 block of College Parkway after an iPhone app showed the phone at that location and deputies obtained a search warrant to enter the residence. Bail was set at $53,000. At the same incident Kady Werlinger, 24, a transient, was arrested for felony probation warrant. No bail was set.

At 5:38 p.m., a 48-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies responded to reports of a combative patient at the Carson-Tahoe Medical Center. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 5:45 p.m., a 24-year-old transient woman was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and possession of marijuana less than one ounce after deputies responded to reports of trespassing near the 1500 block of Lompa Lane. Bail was set at $750.

At 11:03 p.m., a transient man was arrested on suspicion of assault, disorderly conduct and contempt of court warrant after deputies responded to reports of a fight near the 500 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $650.

At 11:20 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing and violation of conditions for Alternative Sentencing after deputies responded to reports of the above fight. The subject told officers that he was trying to witness the fight and allegedly refused to leave the area when officers instructed him to do so. Bail was set at $3,300.

At 11:29 p.m., a 48-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 1300 block of Edmonds Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

SATURDAY

At 1:05 a.m., a 34-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense alcohol and speeding 11-15 over after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Fairview Drive and 5th Street. Bail was set at $1,050.

At 3:25 a.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after deputies responded to reports of an unknown problem at the Telegraph Street Blue Bull Bar. Deputies spoke to one man who stated that his boyfriend punched him during an argument. The man arrested turned himself into the Sheriff’s Office later that morning. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 9:36 a.m., Jacob Madden, 25, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, obstructing and violation of pretrial supervision after deputies responded to reports of a subject acting strangely near the 1900 block of Carson Street. Bail was set at $5,800.

At 4:30 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies responded to reports of a traffic accident near the 4100 block of Nye Lane. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 6:24 p.m., a 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of domestic violence near the 300 block of Agate Drive. Bail was set at $6,000.

At 8:11 p.m., a 64-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies responded to reports of a battered patient at the Koontz Lane Mountain View Rehabilitation Center. Bail was set at $1,000.

SUNDAY

At 2:47 a.m., Thomas Meader, 32, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery-third offense near the 4200 block of Furgerson Road. Bail was set at $15,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
