Betty Nina Holmer Clark passed away in Carson City on September 10th at the age of 90. She was born in American Falls, Idaho to Ernest R. Holmer and Vesta Draper. She grew up in Fallon, Nevada and Married Merlyn K. Scholz of Fallon who was killed in World War ll. As an adult, she spent most of her life in the Reno-Sparks area moving to Carson City in 1997. She worked for many years, but spent most of her adult life as a homemaker. She enjoyed oil and water color painting, sewing, crocheting, reading and crossword puzzles. She especially loved spending time with her family and will be best remembered for her sense of humor, back scratches and warm hugs. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Marilyn Scholz. She is survived by her brother Dr. Ernest C. Holmer of Reno, her daughter Kendell Wilson (John) of Minden, grandchildren Marla Morris (Harold) of Minden, Erin Wilson (Amber Mann) of Sparks, Robert Wilson of Carson City, along with great-grandchildren Hunter, Harrison and Hayden Morris, Chloe Wilson, and numerous nieces and nephews. At her request, there will be no service. The family invites you to come by during the visitation on September 19, 2014 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Autumn Funerals and Cremations in Carson City.
