Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested for violation protection order

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

• At 12:45 a.m., a 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery 2nd offense after allegedly hitting the victim in the face with a chair. Bail was set at $5,000.

• At 11:29 a.m., a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after the Assistant Sheriff reported witnessing him grab and push a female victim to the ground. The arrest report states he drove around the undersheriff’s patrol car in an attempt to leave the scene and had to be chased down at his Imperial Way residence. He was also arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest. Bail was set at $3,250.

• At 4:36 p.m., a 26-year-old was arrested on suspicion of DUI 1st after the dirt bike he was riding was stopped on Airport Road because it wasn’t street legal. He was also arrested on suspicion of having no registration or insurance and no motorcycle classification on his drivers’ license. Total bail was set at $1,675.

• At 7 p.m., a 29-year-old Glenbrook man was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order barring him from contact with his ex-wife. The arrest report stated he was in the cafeteria of Carson Tahoe Hospital where she worked when he was barred from being on hospital property. Bail was set at $1,000.
