A nationally recognized anti bullying organization is bringing its message and knowledge to Carson City the evening of October 9. Teach Anti Bullying Inc. will present “Bullying, the Silent Killer” to educators, parents, law enforcement officials and members of the public on Thursday, October 9 at the Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada from 7 – 8:30 p.m.
The Philadelphia based organization’s mission is to raise awareness of bullying and support families and children who are impacted by bully-related issues. Teach Anti Bullying, Inc. helps schools, communities, and organizations nation-wide in developing both bullying prevention programs and school violence preparedness.
The event is sponsored locally by the Carson City Sheriffs Association, Northern Nevada Law Enforcement Association, The Sausage Factory, J&M Furniture and the Carson City Firemen’s Association.
