Business Briefly: Public Works Association elects officers

Nevada State Chapter of the American Public Works Association elected the following individuals to officer positions in 2015.

President —Garth Oksol, PE, Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County; Vice President — Joy Guinn, CPSM, NCE of Reno; Secretary — Don Pawlowski, PE, Atkins of Reno; 2nd Year Director — Kim Belt, CPM, Carson City Finance; 1st Year Director — Mike Brown, PE, NCE of Reno.

Also appointed as Chapter Alternate Delegate is Darren Schulz, PE, Carson City Public Works.

Elsfelder joins Greater Nevada Credit Union

Noah Elsfelder has joined Greater Nevada Credit Union as business services specialist, bringing more than a dozen years of banking experience to Greater Nevada and the businesses it serves.

In his new role, Elsfelder will help establish and maintain Greater Nevada Credit Union’s business banking relationships. Greater Nevada offers a full range of business banking products and services such as checking accounts, merchant services, cash management, as well as business loans, including construction, SBA and agriculture.
