The Capital City Arts Initiative will present “Art from Walking,” a talk by artist Emily Silver, at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Business Resource Innovation Center, 108 E. Proctor St.
Silver, a former resident of Gardnerville, lives on the Pacific Coast and will talk about how the high desert influences her watercolor landscape paintings. Her presentation is a companion event to her CCAI residency planned for next summer.
An informal reception for the artist will precede the talk at 6:15 p.m.
