CCSD meets Thursday

A regular meeting of the Churchill County School District Board will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Churchill County Administration Office, 690 S. Maine St.

Items to be discussed and that are up for possible actions include the following:

For discussion and possible action: Kristina Moore, Churchill County High School teacher and FFA advisor, will provide information to the board regarding the use of the Rio Vista Property as an FFA fundraiser. The board will discuss and may take action regarding current and future uses of the property and the revenue it generates, including possibly directing that revenue from the property be put in the general fund, directing staff to revise the way the field is used, and making other changes related to the field. (BMAR-4).

For discussion and possible action: Review of policy P4117 - Evaluation of School District Employees.

For discussion and possible action: Approval of resolution 14-08 for the selection of an exclusive broker to list for sale the CCHS construction house located at 462 Discovery Drive.

For discussion and possible action: Report on West End demolition (BMAR-27).

For discussion and possible action: Board budget and budget to actual reports (BMAR-31).

For discussion and possible action: Approval of ongoing contract with Phyllys Dowd, Director of Business Services (BMAR-25).
