Toastmaster of Fallon announces that members Suzann Gilliland and Charles Morris are the winners of Table-Topics and the International Speech competition of the Fallon “Oasis” club.

Gilliand’s winning two-minute presentation focused around the first time one learns to swim as a child. Her amusing story of high diving boards and bravery had the audience captivated. She will compete in the Table-Topics Category at the University of Nevada, Reno’s KNPR auditorium.

Morris gave his winning International speech of “Papason.” This well-given speech was an inspiration, said members.

Morris has been a member of Toastmasters International for over 25 years. He is an accomplished contest winner in many categories.

Gilliland is a newer member of the Oasis Toastmasters International Club. She joined the club to improve her skills speaking and presentation skills with the public and to meet new and interesting people. She handles direct sales for our local Fallon Coffee Roasters.
