Norma Jean Conway

June 20, 1947 - Apr. 6, 2015

Norma passed away on April 6, 2015. She was born June 20, 1947, to Charles and Dorothy Ridgeway in Novato, CA. Norma is survived by her husband, Hank Frohlich; brother, Chuck Ridgeway; oldest daughter, Diane Strand; son, Dennis Conway; 7 grandchildren; and, 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter, Danielle, and granddaughter, Kyra. She retired from the State of Nevada Nuclear Waste Department. She owned her own dance studio and was extensively involved with the performing arts in Northern Nevada throughout her adult life. Norma’s laugh was infectious, and her smile could light up a room. Although her presence will be greatly missed, her spirit will dance on forever. Norma’s Celebration of Life will be Saturday, May 9, Brewery Arts Center, 449 W. King St, Carson City, at 1 pm. The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Wild Horse Children’s Theater, 2101 Mountain St., Carson City, NV 89703. Checks made to: “Kyra Conway Scholarship Fund.”
