Carson High School sweeps Hug, Wooster swimmers

Carson High swept Wooster and Hug in a recent double dual at Carson Aquatic Center.

The Carson boys beat Hug 177-7 and Wooster 178-12. The CHS girls knocked off Hug 198-5 and Wooster 183-96.

Dagen Kipling and Tallon Rauch won two events apiece for the Senators. Kipling won the 200 free (1:54.01) and 500 free (5:15.55). while Rauch won the 100 free (53.48) and 100 back (1:01.11).

Jesse Session won the 200 IM (2:23.28), Reece Canfield took the 50 free (25.90) and Bryan Remick won the 100 breastroke (1:15.69).

For the girls, Elana Guetl won the 100 butterfly (1:11.81) and 100 breast (1:24.46) and Blanca Sosa won the 100 free (56.87) and 100 back (1:06.24). Nicole Van Geel won the 50 free (27.59), while Ashley Meyer won the 500 free (6:10.64) and Brena Gutierrez won the 200 free (2:10.61).
