Carson City Brewery Arts Center hosting auditions for film by Bryce O’Connor

Bryce O’Connor, 15, is holding auditions at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Brewery Arts Center to cast parts in a short film he wrote and will direct.

The story, described by O’Connor as an original fantasy drama, is based on the Grimm fable, “The Story of the Boy Who Went Forth to Learn What Fear Was.”

Roles are available for ages 12-20, but all ages are needed for production assistance. Filming is expected to take two or three days in early August.
