Carson City Rockin’ Rev Ken Haskins to interview soul musicians Saturday

“Legends of Los Angeles” is the program on Reminiscing with the Rockin’ Rev, a radio program with Carson City’s Rockin’ Rev, Ken Haskins, from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday on AM 1180 KCKQ.

Saturday’s program will feature Brenton Wood, whose hits include “Gimme Little Sign,” “Baby You Got It” and “The Oogum Boogum Song.” The Rockin’ Rev will interview Charles Wright of Charles Wright and the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band fame. His hits include the soul classics, “Do Your Thing,” “Express Yourself” and “Loveland.” Dodge Stevens, known for “Pink Shoelaces,” will be interviewed at 4:30 p.m.
