The Elks annual children’s soccer shoot competition will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, in Lampe Park in Gardnerville.
Participants do not need to be AYSO players. The event is open to ages 13 and under. An awards ceremony will take play two or three weeks after the event to honor first, second and third place winners in each age group.
