The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
WEDNESDAY
At 12:36 a.m., a 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving, contributing to delinquency of a minor and child endangering after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William Street and Saliman Road. Bail was set at $3,500.
At 2:14 a.m., a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense, intoxicated person with a firearm, suspended registration and no proof of insurance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near College Parkway and Carson Street. Bail was set at $2,700.
At 2:26 a.m., a Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 2500 block of Bunch Way. Bail was set at $3,000.
At 12:10 p.m., Ashley McKnight, 26, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a woman shoplifting at the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $2,750.
At 4:47 p.m., a 19-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of petit larceny, minor consuming alcohol and violation of alternative sentencing after deputies responded to reports of a man taking alcohol from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $1,650.
At 7:23 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of bail conditions and a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to drug activity at a house near the 200 block of David Street. Bail for the woman was set at $6,500 and bail for the man was set at $3,500.
At 8:28 p.m., a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of trespassing after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious subject near Deer Run and Pursia roads who was walking into people’s homes. Bail was set at $300.
At 10:16 p.m., a 26-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer and disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a noise complaint near the 1100 block of Woodside Drive. Bail was set at $450.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
