The 70th anniversary of the end of World War II was celebrated at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery Sunday during the annual “Keep the Spirit of ‘45 Alive” campaign. Veterans of WWII who served in combat, behind the lines or stateside during the war were honored.
