Capital City Arts Initiative hosting holiday art sale Sunday at Carson City Community Center

Finish your holiday shopping with art by local artists. Join the Capital City Arts Initiative from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the lobby of the Carson City Community Center, where CCAI will have art by local artists for sale in the lobby prior to the Carson City Symphony’s Holiday Treat concert. The lobby will open at 3 p.m.

Five local artists will have their work for sale at Art in the Lobby. William Hutchison will have his hand-blown glass ornaments. Carol Brown will have her hand-made books, blank greeting cards, and small prints. Cyndy Brenneman will show her watercolor still-lifes. Claudia Knous will have her hand-dyed silk scarves. Print maker Sharon Tetly will have her prints and handmade bookmarks. CCAI will also have vintage and gently-used art books for sale.

The Capital City Arts Initiative is an artist-centered organization committed to the encouragement and support of artists and the arts and culture of Carson City and the surrounding region.
