Storey County Sheriff Gerald Antinoro is presenting Guns, Terror and Radicalization in Rural Nevada, the next Thursday night lecture at Gold Hill Hotel, at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 1.
Sheriff Antinoro will talk about recent acts of terrorism, active shooters, mass protests and issues plaguing the larger cities, as well as how a small, rural law enforcement agency might handle them.
Dinner is from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Crown Point Restaurant at the Gold Hill Hotel. The presentation begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Room.
The cost is $25 for the dinner and presentation and $10 for the presentation only. Reservations are required by contacting the Gold Hill Hotel at 775-847-0111.
