Doctor to talk about population control for wild horses Feb. 24

Dr. Jay Kirkpatrick will present a free lecture about fertility control for wild horses and other wildlife at 6 p.m. Feb. 24 at Dayton Community Center, 170 Pike St.

Dr. Kirkpatrick has studied fertility control for the purpose of developing non-lethal and humane methods of controlling wildlife populations for almost 40 years. He studied reproduction in free-ranging wildlife species using non-capture methods.
