March wasn’t for mankind

Regarding “Hoping Climate Action March has impact” (Appeal, Dec. 24), over its 40-year history, the man-caused global climate change movement has transformed itself, first from global cooling, then global warming, as one by one its falsehoods have been disproven.

Most recent to fall is “peak oil.” It must gall practitioners of the church of climate change that Sarah Palin was right after all. The frack-baby-frack oil glut has nearly halved gasoline prices and put the lie to the hysterical prediction that world oil is about to run out.

In November of 2009, leaked emails from the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia in Great Britain exposed climate researchers in their own words conspiring to manipulate data to keep their grant money flowing. The climate buffoons are without excuse.

Now profit-oriented fraudsters have hijacked the movement. Multiple Solyndra-type solar panel scammers got taxpayer money while their companies went broke. Warren Buffett is just one crony capitalist trying to kill the Keystone Pipeline, in his case because it would hurt his leaky, explosion-prone, but profitable railroad petroleum tankers.

Gullible greenies, awake. You’re marching, not for mankind, but to enrich the 1 percent who are free-riding on your ignorance.
