Abbie Louise (Hathcock) Campbell, of Carson City, passed peacefully and surrounded in love on January 13, 2015 at the age of 92. She was born in Wenatchee, WA on 10/2/22 to Thomas “Red” and Pearl Hathcock and was raised in Texas. Abbie moved to Santa Monica, CA as a young woman where she worked for the Harrah family then met her perfect match, William Dixon Campbell. William (Bill) and Abbie Campbell eventually settled in Carson City, NV where they worked at Harrah’s/Harvey’s Tahoe for many years. Bill and Abbie retired to Hesperia, CA where they golfed and enjoyed life to the fullest. Abbie was preceeded in death by her husband, William Dixon Campbell and her son, Jerry Robertson (Kris), her brothers, Clifton and Jay and her sister, Dana. Abbie will be remembered for her infectious laugh, quick wit, and unwavering love for family. Abbie is survived by her sister Ollie, her son William (Bill) Campbell Jr, grandchildren Ananda Campbell-Richards (Brian), Jade Campbell (Autumn), Larry Robertson, Karen Flowers (Wallace), Kevin Robertson (Mary), Tommy Robertson, and seven beloved great-grandchildren. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 24 in Carson City. Please call Sierra Place at 775-841-4111 for details.
