December 17, 1939 - January 24, 2019
Linda June Smith (Huffman), beloved daughter, wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on January 24, 2019 in Sparks, Nevada.
She was born to Minor and Dena Mae Huffman on December 17, 1939 in Dallas, Texas. She married Thomas Eugene Smith in 1958, and their nearly 50 year adventure began.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother.
She is survived by daughters Terrie Page (Craig), Sherri Alvis (Andy); grandchildren Kate Tuttle (Kerri), Greg Williams (Vanae), Paul Williams, Eric Alvis, Delaney Cato (Damir), step grandson Brendan Page, and great-grandchildren Danton, Gibson, and Abby Williams.
The family would like to express our profound gratitude to the wonderful staff of the Arbors Memory Care for the love and care they provided, as well as the compassionate staff of Kindred Hospice for the care they provided.
At Linda’s request, no services will be held. A memorial and family gathering is planned.
