Pizza Factory is the newest pizza restaurant to open in Fallon. Eric and Maren Lombardi have owned the chain for almost 30 years and currently own two other stores in Fernley and Loomis, Calif.

Eric and Maren’s daughter, Allie Lombardi, manages the Fallon store, but she has been managing stores since she was 18 years old.

“It really is a family business for us,” Allie Lombardi said. “I have held every position in the store from delivery driver to cooking and the day I turned 18, my parents handed me the keys to one of the stores and made me a manager.”

She said Pizza Factory is more than just a pizzeria to the people who own the franchise.

“It’s a big extended family,” she said.

Lombardi said several family members have been involved with Pizza Factory and that all of the owners of the chains help one another when needed.

“We had friends who own a store in Red Rock (north of Reno) that came to Fallon to help us get our store ready to open,” she said.

Lombardi said the atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxed and very family friendly. It’s a place where people can come to hang out with their friends and have a good time.

Lombardi pointed out that one thing Pizza Factory offers that other pizzerias don’t is the party room that can seat large groups separate from other diners.

Although Fallon already has four pizza restaurants, Lombardi said Pizza Factory doesn’t have competition. She said not only does the party room set the restaurant apart but also the fresh and quality ingredients, daily specials, salad bar and delivery helps with that.

“We take great pride in the ingredients that we use and ensure they are fresh,” Lombardi said. “I think our customers appreciate the hard work we have put into the restaurant and it shows by their loyalty to us and we appreciate them for their loyalty.”

Lombardi said the restaurant offers military, senior and school discounts. She also said that the restaurant offers daily special, sends coupons in the mail and has promotions that can be sent to phones.

“We will always try to help with discounts when needed,” Lombardi said. “If someone forgets their coupon at their home we do have them in store as well.”

Lombardi, who has a passion for the restaurant, she said the business is more than the food that it serves but it is about the community and the people who live here.

Pizza Factory also serves pasta, sandwiches, calzones and salads, and it even has healthy options for individuals who are watching their calories.

Pizza Factory is open Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday-Saturday 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday noon-9 p.m. The restaurant offers a lunch buffet daily until 2 p.m., $6.99 for adults and $2.99 for children and a dinner buffet Tuesday night from 5-8 p.m., $8.99 for adults and $3.99 for children. Children under 3 years old eat free.
