Nevada Nurses Foundation held its inaugural Big Hat Tea June 27 at the Governor’s Mansion with harp music by Sable Shaw, tea, food, big hats and entertainment by Ted Nagel of Rolling Thunder with vocalist Darlene Bujold.
The group supports professional nurses and increase access to quality healthcare through educational scholarships. Spring scholarship recipients include: Linda Cirrilo, Richard Young, Michael York, Doreen Begley, Maria Poggio and Heidi Johnson. For more information, go to www.nvnurses.org.
