Douglas County Superintendent of Schools Teri White will be featured at Douglas County Democrats’ annual picnic from 2 to 5 p.m. July 25 in Mormon Station Park in Genoa.

White, a former human resources director, was named superintendent in June. She served as an assistant superintendent in Lyon County and as superintendent in Mineral County.

The picnic program includes comments from several Democratic office seekers or their representatives. Barbecued tri-tip, hot dogs, veggie burgers, beans and salad round out the picnic menu.

Admission is $15 with children under 12 admitted free. Food will be served at 2:30 p.m.
