RENO — NV Energy commercial customers interested in learning more about energy efficiency rebates to help increase their bottom line are invited to attend the NV Energy Sure Bet Summit.

The free event takes place Aug. 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at NV Energy, 6100 Neil Road in Reno.

NV Energy encourages small to medium size business owners, as well as contractors to attend.

Admission to the event is free, but pre-registration is required.

For more information, or to register, contact the NV Energy Sure Bet team at 800-342-6335 or register at nvenergy.com/surebet, click on “Classes and Seminars” and look for the NV Energy Sure Bet Summit registration link.

Participants will learn more about the NV Energy Sure Bet Program and how to leverage the program offerings to reduce electrical consumption and lower their utility costs. Increased incentives for the natural gas program will also be discussed. Additionally, attendees will learn about the new Sure Bet online application process and tools to help customers easily submit and track the status of their Sure Bet applications.

“As the economy continues to improve in Northern Nevada, both established and new businesses are thriving,” said NV Energy Sure Bet Operations Manager Mark Darden.

Incentives are available for new construction, major renovation and existing facility project improvements.

“I think it’s safe to say that most business owners are seeking the most efficient ways to save money,” Darden added. “We are experts at working with businesses to help do just that and help lower their utility bills. It’s our goal that attendees gain a deeper understanding about what’s available to them, and also understand that the process is streamlined and easy.”
