P.E.O. Chapter N is raising funds to support scholarships, educational grants, loans and educational awards in its Big Annual Garage Sale, planned from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 2540 Waterford Place, Carson City.
P.E.O. is one of the largest nonsectarian, community-based organizations, having chapters in each of the 50 United States, District of Columbia and in six Canadian provinces. It supports programs that provide higher educational assistance to women in furthering their education, including scholarships for Western Nevada College students.
