Carson Valley Beekeepers is hosting a meeting, in which information about honey bees, beekeeping and other topics will be discussed, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, 2621 Northgate Lane, Suite 15.
The meetings focus on topics requested by attendees and provide opportunities for free flowing discussion about beekeeping. Adults and youth are welcome to join the group, as well as experienced or beginner beekeepers and anyone else interested in beekeeping. Being a practicing beekeeper is not a prerequisite for attending the meetings. Gardeners who know about local plant life are especially helpful for beekeepers.
