Carson City’s Board of Supervisors is looking for applicants to fill three seats on the city’s Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife.

The panel, which manages wildlife matters within the consolidated city’s urban and rural areas, meets at various times and usually with the onset of fishing and hunting seasons. The commitment for the voluntary and uncompensated positions could require up to six hours monthly, according to the announcement from City Hall. The terms end in July, 2018

Interested persons may check the city’s website at www.carson.org/volunteer for additional information on boards, committees and commissions policy. Prospective applicants should be aware their applications will be considered public information. Applications will be accepted until July 6. Interviews with those applying are tentatively planned by the city’s governing board at a meeting on July 16.
