Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, or PFLAG, and Transgender Allies Group, or TAG, are hosting a free panel discussion about being transgender at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16, in the Performance Hall of the Brewery Arts Center, 449 W. King St.
Opening comments will be made by Mayor Bob Crowell. Other presenters include transgender persons and healthcare professionals with specialized experience treating and supporting them. A question and answer session will follow.
