Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on warrant charging domestic violence

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

• At 6:21 p.m., a 20-year-old was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after Walmart security reported he ran from the store with a bag containing property. He was apprehended in the 1800 block of Russell Way and held in lieu of $750 on that charge of obstructing an officer for attempting to flee.

• At 9:20 p.m., a 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense after physically threatening and hitting his 14-year-old son. Bail was set at $3,000.

• At 10:50 p.m., a 30-year-old was arrested on suspicion of traffic violations was re-booked on an outstanding warrant charging domestic battery-first offense. He was ordered held in lieu of $5,000 bail.
