Mykelti O’Brien, a senior at Carson High School, will collect pet food and supplies as part of her senior project from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Benson’s Feed & Tack, 2750 Highway 50 E.
The donated pet food and supplies will be delivered to FISH’s food bank for distribution to homeless and disadvantaged members of the community.
O’Brien has volunteered at Pets of the Homeless since December as part of her senior project. Pets of the Homeless is a national nonprofit organization that provides pet food and veterinary care to homeless people across the country.
