Carson City’s Chamber Singers holding concerts

The Carson Chamber Singers, directed by Michael Langham, will continue its 30th season with a pair of spring concerts, the first of which will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 314 N. Division St.

The concert will include early music written for double choir by Giovanni Gabrielli, “Frostiana: Seven Country Songs,” the setting by Randall Thompson of poems by Robert Frost, and works by Sergei Rachmaninoff, Anton Bruckner, Ralph Manuel, and Mark Hayes.

The program, which will feature Linda Hardy as accompanist, will be repeated at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Episcopal Church, 200 Island Ave. in Reno.

Tickets cost $10 each, and admission is free for ages 16 and under.

Tickets are available at the door and at CCSymphony.com and Silver and Brass, 710 N. Curry St. Carson City Symphony flex tickets are also accepted.
