Carson City Historic Resources Commission hosting annual scavenger hunt in May

In celebration of May as Historic Preservation Month, the Carson City Historic Resources Commission is holding its sixth annual Historic Preservation Scavenger Hunt through May 27.

The adult scavenger hunt consists of 30 historic architectural features, all within the historic district, and a children’s scavenger hunt which consists of 20 historic features within a smaller area.

Completed entries must be submitted by 4 p.m. on May 27 to the Planning Division, 108 E. Proctor St. Entries with all correct answers will be entered into a drawing to be held on May 29.

The winner of the adults scavenger hunt will receive a free lunch for two at Adele’s. A gift certificate to Brugo’s Pizza Co. is the prize for the children’s hunt.
