Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on prohibited person in possession of firearm

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 9:29 a.m., a 37-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking clothes from the Carson Street Cal Ranch store. Bail was set at $250.

At 10:43 p.m., a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear-traffic, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,322.

SATURDAY

At 2:03 a.m., Ambre Watrous, 26 of Washoe Valley was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense. At 3:30 a.m., Ambre was rearrested in the jail on suspicion of felony using other personalized ID to avoid detection, obstructing an officer and alternate sentencing hold after deputies suspected that Watrous had used a fake name and birth date to avoid arrest. Bail for both incidents was set at $9,300.

At 8:34 a.m., Spencer Oesterling, 23, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony prohibited person in possession of a firearm, two counts of contempt of court, domestic battery-first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a dangerous weapon after deputies responded to reports of two people arguing inside a residence. Bail was set at $37,663.

SUNDAY

At 1:55 p.m., a 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of two subjects trying to take items out of the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $250.

At 3:55 p.m., Ashley Dadey, 28, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary, felony possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. At the same incident, Jesica Sanchez, 23, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia; Priscilla Roches, 28, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary; Pablo Martinez, 35, of Reno was arrested on felony burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies responded to reports of two women attempting to take items out of the Market Street Walmart, but when confronted, and fled the scene. Bail for Dadey was set at $23,500, bail for Sanchez was set at $23,500, bail for Roches was set at $20,000 and bail for Martinez was set at $21,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
