Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for May 10. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

McDonalds, 2001 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

Panaderia el Trigal, 3189 E. Highway 50, scored 100 points.

Slotworld, 3879 E. Highway 50, scored 100 points.

Lifted Cafe, 2201 W. College Parkway, scored 99 points. There was grease accumulation in the bottom front of the grill and around the sides and on the floor.

Domino’s, 3231 E. Highway 50, scored 99 points. The basins of the three compartment sink were not set up.

Crossroads Lounge, 300 E. Winnie Lane, scored 98 points. An area inside the ice machine was dirty with biofilm buildup.

Dutch Bros. Coffee, 1449 S. Carson St., scored 96 points. The refrigerator units were missing thermometers inside them. The basins of the three compartment sink were not set up, corrected on site. The sanitizer bucket for storing wiping clothes was not set up, corrected on site. The floor sink was dirty.

Frutilandia Corp., 3217 E. Highway 50, scored 95 points. The inside roof area of the ice machine was dirty. There was no soap dispenser at either hand sink.

Jack in the Box, 309 E. William St., scored 95 points. The dishwasher was not dispensing adequate chlorine sanitizer during the final rinse cycle to leave a measurable residual of 50 to 110 parts per million, corrected on site.

Los Caporales Supermarket, bakery, 1621 E. Highway 50, Suite G, scored 95 points. The list of ingredients of baked goods was not placed in an obvious location for customer access. “To-go” containers of cake were not properly labeled with a list of ingredients and dates. An opened can of food was stored in the walk-in. The floor mixer and utensil storage container were not clean.

Los Caporales Supermarket, grocery, 1621 E. Highway 50, Suite G, scored 93 points. The open display case containing cheese and eggs and other food held a temperature of 51-54 degrees. Containers of nuts were not properly labeled. Both rear doors needed weather-stripping to prevent pest entry, repeat violation. There was dust accumulation in the fan guards in the restroom.

Los Caporales Supermarket, meat department, 1621 E. Highway 50, Suite G, scored 88 points. Spices were dispensed with cups, instead of scoops with handles, near both walk-ins. There was no thermometer inside the cheese case. There were no chlorine test strips in the department. Both meat slicers and the ice machine were dirty. There was no certified food handler on duty.

Los Caporales Supermarket, take out, 1621 E. Highway 50, Suite G, scored 87 points. Cooked chicken and other meats were holding at 90-91 degrees on the service line. An opened can of food was stored in the walk-in. There was no soap available at the hand sink, corrected on site. There was no certified food handler on duty.
