Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on fugitive from justice

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 1:03 a.m., Joseph Montez, 33, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of fugitive from justice and no valid driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Highway 50 East and Deer Run Road. Bail was set at $50,100.

At 3:38 a.m., a 40 year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies responded to reports of two intoxicated drivers leaving the Williams Street Dotty’s Casino. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 4:53 a.m., a 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 5:00 p.m., a 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense and failure to appear-traffic. Bail was set at $3,345.

At 6:29 p.m., a 51-year-old Texas woman and a 70 year-old Carson City man were arrested on suspicion of two counts of possession of prescription medication without prescription and petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of two people eating food and taking items without paying. Bail was set at $5,250 each.

SATURDAY

At midnight, a 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-second offense, license revoked for DUI, and violation of a suspended sentence after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 500 block of Bath Street. Bail was set at $4,500.

At 1:20 a.m., a 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted person at the Carson Street Jimmy G’s Cigar Bar. Bail was set for $150.

At 2:37 p.m., Jessie Archuleta, 57, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Highway 50 and Centennial Street. Bail was set at $3,500.

SUNDAY

At 1:21 a.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2700 block of Highway 50 East. Bail was set for $1,000.

At 8:36 p.m., Zakary Ellis, 39, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of possible domestic dispute. Bail was set at $4,100.

TUESDAY

At 12:12 a.m., a 62-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of resident with no Nevada driver’s license and a Reno warrant after deputies responded to reports of a possible domestic dispute. Bail was set at $475.
