Input about Nevada’s air pollution regulations sought

Nevada Division of Environmental Protection is hosting a workshop from 9:30 a.m. to noon June 10 in the Great Basin Conference Room at 901 S. Stewart St. to hear comments about proposed amendments to Nevada’s air pollution regulations.

The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection is proposing regulations that will update the state’s adoption of federal regulations by reference, and amend the state ambient air quality standards and related definitions.

The proposed amendments and related materials are available at http://ndep.nv.gov/admin/public.htm#air_qp. A copy of materials relating to the proposed regulations may also be obtained at the workshop or from Adele Malone at NDEP, 901 S. Stewart St., Suite 4001, Carson City, NV 89701; call 775-687-9356; or email amalone@ndep.nv.gov. Members of the public who are disabled and require special accommodations or assistance at the meeting are requested to notify Adele Malone no later than three working days before the workshop.
