Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of DUI-fourth offense

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 1:29 a.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery at the 1400 block of Rand Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 7:31 a.m., a 20-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation after deputies responded to reports of two subjects using an apartment complex’s laundry facilities who didn’t live in the complex. Bail was set at $4,000.

At 1:34 p.m., Jodi Bingley-Ybarra, 41, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony vehicle burglary, destruction of property, and intoxicated pedestrian and Eddie Serna, 29, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony accessory vehicle burglary, ex-felon failed to register, open liquor container in public, and animal at large after deputies responded to reports of a couple trying to steal a woman’s cell phone. Bail for Bingley-Ybarra was set at $20,525 and bail for Serna was set at $20,200.

At 8:07 p.m., Marco Mendez, 38, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI drugs-fourth offense, improper display of license plates required, unregistered vehicle, no insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid driver’s license and violation of suspended sentence after deputies initiated a traffic stop. Bail was set at $22,750.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
