Commissioners meet Thursday morning

The first regularly scheduled meeting of November for the Churchill County commissioners will be held Thursday at 8:15 a.m. Churchill County Administration Building chambers, 155 N. Taylor St., suite 145.

Agenda items to be considered and/or possible actions:

Request transfer of funds to the Churchill County Road Department for first and final payment on the various FY 2016 road and bridge projects.

Appointment of Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth as bond counsel for Churchill County Jail financing.

Resolution #21-2015 regarding the intention to issue tax-exempt obligations and to reimburse Churchill County from proceeds of such obligations for costs incurred prior to issuance.

Revisions to Churchill County’s investment policy.

Resolution 22-2015 requesting assignment of a deputy attorney general in prosecution of a conflict

Approval of an Agreement for purchase of a conservation/restrictive use easement with the Corkill Brothers, Inc. for assessor’s parcel Nos. 006-831-36 and 006-831-37.

Review

The Churchill County Social Services Office provides notification of an Indigent Accident Fund Application from Renown Health under client #12900 for which eligibility will be conducted within 30 days pursuant to Chapter 428 of the Nevada Revised Statutes.
