Scott Forrest Hoote, 58 Surrounded by his family and friends, Scott Forrest Hoote of Carson City, NV, ended his struggle with Esophageal cancer on October 20, 2015.

He is survived by his wife Diane and daughters Megan and Whittney, father James (Kathy), brother David (Tracy), step children and grandchildren, Alivia, Dalton, Taylor, Brandi, Shannon, Ella, Avery, and Sophia. He is preceded by his mother, Joyce. Scott was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend to all. Scott worked at the Raley’s in Incline Village for twenty years. First, as the night crew manager and then in the produce department. Like everything else he did, he poured his heart into his job. His hobbies were hiking, camping, fishing and barbequing with his family. He was an adventurous and avid outdoorsman who adored his yearly trips to Yellowstone and Yosemite. Scott left his mark in all of the signature books at the top of the mountains and hiking trails all around the Lake Tahoe area. His friends and family plan to carry on his adventurous legacy. A celebration of life potluck will be held on November 7th, at the Foursquare Church, 918 Northwood Blvd., Incline Village, NV at 11am. All who loved Scott are encouraged to attend.
