The Salvation Army, serving Carson City and Douglas County, is hiring seasonal workers to help with its holiday program. A job fair is planned from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at its Family Services office, 661 Colorado St.
The nonprofit needs help with its Christmas food drive, Angel Tree Christmas Toy distribution and annual Red Kettle Campaign. One warehouse assistant, two drivers, and several kettle workers are needed.
To attend the job fair, bring a resume, two forms of legal identification, and references, which can include current DMV printout for drivers, and be prepared to be interviewed. For more information. go to carsoncitysalarmy.org.
